Joining Tournaments
How do I browse and join a tournament?
You can view Trinity3 tournaments on the Tournaments page of the platform. Here, you can filter available tournaments by game title, mode, type of prize pool and/or date to find your ideal result. You can also filter tournaments by country, to see results that are specific to your geography. When you find a tournament that you wish to participate in, you can join it directly from the tournament card. Alternatively, click on the card to see further details, and join from the expanded view!
What do I need to know before joining a tournament?
Please note that tournaments are held at a global or regional level, and you should only join tournaments that correspond with your current location. Make sure you read the specified rules, before joining a tournament to ensure you do not face disqualification. Further information about the tournament, including the required console, should be available in the rulebook. You will need to have registered a relevant platform ID for the game title that you’re trying to join. If you haven’t done this already, you can do this from your User Settings.
How do I get rewarded for competing in tournaments?
Tournaments may be accompanied by cryptocurrency tokens or NFT rewards.
The amount of tokens you receive will depend on how the tournament organiser has set up their event, and what round (if any!) you are knocked out in. Rewards will need to be claimed after a tournament concludes but will be cancelled if you are disqualified for not engaging in the tournament, or for malicious intent. You can view the status of your rewards in the your player dashboard, including their transaction ID.
Why do I need to verify my account via Telegram to join tournaments?
Not all tournaments will require Telegram verification to join. To determine if a tournament requires verification, you can find out more information on the tournament page. Verification helps reduce instances of fraud, and to ensure that certain tournaments can be effectively vetted, if needed.
What are One-Time Teams?
One-Time Teams enable you to participate in team tournaments on Trinity3. These teams will only exist for the duration of the tournament and provide you with a seamless interface to connect with your friends. To view your currently joined teams, visit the "My Teams" section in the top right of your menu bar. Here you will be able to view other teammates, speak in the team chat and make changes when necessary!
